Accountability and Responsibility: With the obvious exceptions of Air Freight, Sea Freight, Cranes and Specialist packing services, Bishopsgate undertakes that work will never be sub-contracted to another carrier. All work is carried by our own full-time employees, using our own specialist vehicles, and our performance will be backed by our own high levels of Freight Liability cover. Accountability and responsibility for a successful move starts and stops with us.
Staff: Notwithstanding our existing high levels of technical expertise, Bishopsgate is committed to ongoing staff training and development to ensure we continue to meet the changing demands of our market. Staff are trained in a diverse range of skills, for example: Manual Handling; Defensive Driving: Electric Stairclimber use; Health and Safety Awareness; Site Management; and Customer Service. Copy training certificates can be provided in advance of work taking place.
Respecting the Customer Environment: At Bishopsgate we understand the importance and sensitivity of the sites in which we work. Our delivery teams ensure their work is carried out with due deference to the customer’s staff and property, members of the public and the on-going business activity.
Environmental Responsibilities: At Bishopsgate we take our environmental responsibilities very seriously.We endeavour to minimise our impact on the environment through ongoing fleet modernisation which ensures we use the cleanest and most fuel efficient engines. A 100% recycling rate is currently being achieved for all waste packaging materials.
Adaptability and Flexibility: From a simple change of delivery date, time or address to a complete re-work of a major project, we recognise frequent changes to the scope of services as an intrinsic part of the business. At Bishopsgate, we pride ourselves on our ability to react quickly and accommodate such changes and we are also extremely adept at responding to last minute transportation requests without compromising service quality.

We keep communication simple by ensuring your have only one point of contact for all queries–our Customer Services Office, whose staff are committed to providing a customer specific and personal service. At all stages of a move, from initial enquiry to job completion, you will know who you are dealing with.
Health and Safety / Risk Management: Our Site Survey, Method Statement and Risk Assessment documentation is comprehensive and ensures that the work we do is fully compliant with current legislation and that the correct resources are deployed to complete the work safely.
