You may remember a year ago in May 2013 we published a story focused on the ingenious ways some of us and our local neighbours had re used the waste wood packaging which had been removed following some our specialist two man deliveries and installations. Refer back to see the Cycle Shop (Velolife near Maidenhead), the Chicken Run and the Garden Shed all made from waste wood….
Well the trend continues and we thought it would be interesting to share some updates with you.
Nathan Harvey, Swindon Customer Services and pioneer of the Bishopsgate ISO9001 QUALITY system, has made some garden furniture and planters for his newly refurbished home. The garden being the final “room” in need of his personal touch.
Knowing Nathan, as we do, none of us could believe how fantastic the results were and all made by his own fair hand.
Here’s hoping we get some good weather in the summer so Nathan can invite us all round for a BBQ!!! Although Nathan might be a little bit busy in the summer with he and his wife expecting their first baby.
Carlos Menezes, who has been with Bishopsgate since the early days and was instrumental in the move into the new 45,000 sq. ft. warehouse at the end of 2013, found time to produce this wonderful planter.
Carlos recently moved into his new home without a garden and so cleverly turned some waste wood into a delightful planter to bring his favourite plants, Lilies and Brazilian Jasmine, to his balcony retreat.
Carlos has certainly created his own “green space in the city”. Let’s hope the plants get the ideal amount of sun and rain to flourish and provide Carlos a tranquil setting to have his evening relax.
Who said that all manufacturing is leaving Britain?
