This creates added value not only for TENESO and its business units such as tectraxx in Austria but especially for its customers. So that these standards are maintained and continually refined, tectraxx regularly submits to an external evaluation of its Integrated Management System during the course of ISO certification. Proof of successful certification is in any case increasingly demanded by customers, because this guarantees delivery of what has been promised.
The Integrated Management System, which was established at tectraxx some years ago, covers a range of different disciplines depending on internal and external (i.e. customer) criteria. In addition to the requirements of a quality management system matching up to ISO 9001, tectraxx also adheres to the specifications for environmental management according to ISO 14001, for health and safety at work, for safe and secure transportation and for energy efficiency. Based on corporate objectives, on principles established for operation, on work procedures and on the implementation of standards, a review is carried out at least once a year by an accredited independent certification body. In addition to external audits by the certifying authority, the Integrated Management System is also subjected to critical scrutiny and review from time to time by qualified, independent internal auditors. The internal and external audits once completed confirm compliance with the defined standards, ensuring Service Excellence and highlighting any scope for further development and improvement; this is subsequently implemented in the networked group of companies. Systematic monitoring, detailed analysis and appropriate further measures bring about an optimum balance of attractive pricing with enhanced quality of execution and service, thus meeting the challenging criteria set by tectraxx customers. The quality standards at tectraxx have been adhered to globally since 1993 in line with ISO 9001, and before that in line with ISO 9002. The longstanding commitment of tectraxx in terms of sustainability has now been confirmed in the German-speaking countries with the conferral of certification according to ISO 14001. Preparations are in hand for subsidiaries in the Czech Republic and in Hungary to undergo certification in line with ISO 14001 by the end of the year.
