There is a lot of focus on the new polymer cash cassettes and Bishopsgate are in the right position to help with a tailored service to meet your client’s requirements
Track and Trace
All paper or polymer cash cassettes are scanned into our warehouse management system by product code. They will be placed in a designated area with full viewing rights available on our Iportal. Place an order online for 1, 4, 12 or a pallet load of cassettes and we will ensure cost effective delivery
Paper Cassettes – Refurbishment and Repair
Once the workshop receive a request to work on the cassette, they will check it over using a designated procedure/document, the engineers will then complete a Pre-check assessment document defining what is required. Once this has been established and/or authorisation received work can commence on the repair.
Reconfiguration
Given the information we are able to offer the facility to change the set up of individual cassettes, by adjusting the magnet settings dependent upon the type required and also the guide rails and lid for note spacing.
Spraying
Some customers require new cassettes to be sprayed either totally or partially. This is so that they can easily be identified. In these circumstances all spraying will be undertaken by dedicated personnel within our own spray bay at our location in Manchester; all references to the colours will be provided by the customer, either a RAL number or a colour match, so there will be no misunderstanding.
Relabelling
After the cassette has been clean a new set of labels, will be placed on the unit in the positions designated by the customer.
Testing
After any work has been undertaken all cash cassettes will be tested within an ATM. This will enable the engineers to see if there are any faults i.e. shutter failure and/or sensor failure. Each cassette will be tested on a continuous loop so that around 50 notes have been passed through
Environmental Disposal
If the assessment deems that the cassette is beyond economical repair, this will be passed on to the customer who will then authorise for this cassette to be stripped down into its component parts for environmental disposal.
